Permanent Hair Removal – Treatment Process in the Zurich Laser Center |

If you choose a treatment in our Laser Center we start with a counseling interview, where you have the opportunity to ask all upcoming questions about the treatment.
We will explain the operation mode of the applied IPL systems, their effectiveness for permanent hair removal and we will ask you as well about any factors interfering with permanent hair removal like medication, possible hormone imbalances, etc. |

The treated skin part will be marked by us with a special pen to specify the treatment boundaries. It will be removed after the successful treatment.
Afterwards the hair will be shortened to the proper length before beginning with the actual IPL treatment.
In a few cases we test your body reaction on permanent hair removal treatment by treating a small skin part. |

A light contact gel is applied on the corresponding body part. This will ensure a proper contact between the application device and the skin, resulting in an improved treatment effect.
Now the device applicator is passed over the treated skin area. The integrated, active skin cooling system improves the treatment even more. Your eyes are protected during the whole process by safety glasses. |

| After the hair removal process the germ cells of all hair currently in the growth phase are destroyed. Here no hair can grow again. Depending on the treated skin area, the hair will be repelled after 3 to 20 days and will fall off. |
